A huge congratulations to all of our finalists and nominees, an a special thank you to everyone who took the time to recognise and celebrate the achievements of their colleagues, partners, and fundraising teams. The standard of nominations made the judging process a challenging one, and we are incredibly proud to celebrate this year's winners.

🏆Face-to-face Fundraiser of the Year | Peter Narbutas, Cornucopia NZ

Peter Narbutas has been awarded the 2026 PFRA Face-to-Face Fundraiser of the Year in recognition of his outstanding professionalism, integrity, and long-standing commitment to excellence in face-to-face fundraising.

Over more than a decade, Peter has built a reputation as an exceptional fundraiser who consistently creates genuine, lasting relationships with donors while representing his charity partners with warmth, authenticity, and professionalism. His dedication extends well beyond fundraising, with ongoing contributions to community initiatives, volunteer activities, and supporting the broader mission of Hato Hone St John.

🏆 Face-to-face Newcomer of the Year | Mickael Coyla, Aida

Mickael Coyla has been named the inaugural PFRA Face-to-Face Newcomer of the Year, recognising the exceptional impact he has made in less than 12 months in the fundraising sector.

After arriving in New Zealand from France, Mickael quickly embraced the challenges of fundraising in a second language, demonstrating remarkable determination, professionalism, and a genuine passion for the charities he represents. His ability to build authentic connections with donors, combined with his consistently positive attitude and commitment to learning, has seen him develop into a trusted and highly valued member of his team.

Beyond his own fundraising success, Mickael has become a role model for new fundraisers, regularly supporting colleagues through training and leading by example. His enthusiasm, resilience, and unwavering commitment to high standards embody the qualities this new award was created to recognise.

IHC has been named the 2026 PFRA Charity Partner of the Year in recognition of its outstanding commitment to collaboration, innovation, and long-term partnership in face-to-face fundraising.

As one of New Zealand's pioneering organisations in regular giving, IHC has worked closely with its fundraising partners for more than 25 years to build one of the country's most successful face-to-face fundraising programmes.
